“Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.”
Proverbs 31:30 (NKJV)
Proverbs 31 is a popular passage and a lot of women want to be the virtuous Proverbs 31 woman. She possessed characteristics that set her apart. However, it wasn’t her looks that set her apart, it was her heart. The way she lived was admirable and honorable. The Proverbs 31 woman is pleasing in God’s sight and worthy of being emulated.
As a daughter of God, you don’t have to “prove” yourself to anyone else. You don’t have to brag or convince anyone that you are valuable and worthy. God has already accepted you as His own and it is His opinion that matters.
Allow your walk with Him to speak louder than your words. Live your life in a way that honors your Savior, and brings others closer to Him. Use the same affection, forgiveness, grace and kindness that God has shown you, to pour into the lives of others. The Proverbs 31 woman lived a life that spoke for itself.
“Give her of the fruit of her hands, And let her own works praise her in the gates.”
Proverbs 31:31 (NKJV)
