Sometimes we don't recognize people as "toxic" because we've already labeled them as "trusted." Those you spend time with affect your character. Don't compromise your purpose or your faith due to comfort or familiarity. Instead, be mindful of who you're attaching yourself to and if it will be worth it in the long run. Remember, “convenience" comes with a cost.
I can't believe it's already August! This year has flown by so fast... with the exception of January, which felt like 3 months. And it feels like summer only lasted 20 minutes. However, I'm excited about what the month of August holds, including my blog tour! Yes, I'm on tour.
The same God who knows the beginning from the end, knew that you would make mistakes. He knew you would never be perfect while on this earth, and He chose to love you anyway.
All of these things I don’t need are tucked away in boxes that no one ever sees. In the same way, we have so much unnecessary baggage hidden in our hearts and our minds, taking up valuable space. Maybe you notice it and maybe you don’t, but it’s still there. And eventually, the evidence of your baggage will reveal itself.
Honestly, we can't bring others to Christ if we are isolating them or speaking negatively of them. Not only does gossiping hurt others, it also taints your image and makes it harder for people to trust or respect you.
