The Sun Will Shine Again

Last year on December 30th I received a life-changing phone call. I published my last blog post hours after receiving that call. I couldn’t have anticipated how much my life was about to transform. So many things are different now. For those first few weeks, I cried every single day. I had questions that needed answers. I had fears; real fears. Life had broken my heart and I had no idea what to do but trust God.

I made the decision to move back to my hometown to be closer to my family. In December I asked God to restore my life back to what it was supposed to be before I moved. It’s been a few months since I’ve moved back and I can wholeheartedly say that God has answered that prayer. I’ve never seen God move in this way before. In the midst of hardship and challenges, I still feel so special. God has a way of making you feel seen, even as life’s chaos spins recklessly around you.

I was able to break my 12-month lease (8 months early) with no penalty. I was able to move back into the house I own, that I had already rented out. I also got a new job in my field without an interview. A job I received an offer from in 2022 before deciding to go with another company. All of this took place within 3 weeks of me moving. It felt like God was pouring blessings over me and I haven’t felt this level of peace and joy in such a long time!

I wanted to share this to encourage you that no matter what’s going on right now, the sun will shine again. There’s nothing I can do about my situation but I know that nothing is too hard for God. No diagnosis, no expense, no job status, no sickness, no financial situation, no relational issue, no mistake, no person, place or thing – is too hard for God.

Not only does He love you deeply and care about all of your needs, He has gone before you to provide for you and protect you. Even when it doesn’t feel like it, God is on your side. And no matter your circumstances, His plans for you are still good. God’s plans for your life don’t stop when life gets rocky. And although we may be surprised, God is not. In fact, when we face difficulty, God loves to show us who He really is.

“Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.” Jeremiah 32:17 NIV

I tell more of the story here on my YouTube channel. I can’t wait to come back and share the miracle I know God will perform!
