One day following my 3AM prayer challenge I got discouraged because I still had not heard back from my desired company about the career opportunity I had applied for several weeks prior. I felt a little humiliated because I had announced it here on my blog for the world to see and nothing had happened. … Continue reading 3AM Prayer Challenge Update + Life Update

How to Spiritually Cover and Protect Your Home
My home is my safe space. I have intentionally created an atmosphere that is welcoming and peaceful. Many times I've had a long day or felt overwhelmed in a crowded room but when I got home, I instantly felt better. Now, disclaimer - I am by no means an expert in this area. But it's important to me that I cover and protect my space. So today, I would like to share my process with you and help you do the same.
Faith in the Middle
Change can be scary but it's necessary. You can't be the woman God has called you to be in this season, if you're trying to hold on to the old version of you. The comfort you crave can actually stunt your growth. If you're in a season of transition, this message is for YOU!
Have Faith in What You Planted
If you're in a season where you've been praying and working on something, and it hasn't happened yet, this message is for you. I'm urging you to live in expectation. No matter how long it's been, keep going. The healing, the career, the home, the marriage, the children, the growth, the business, the degree, the _____ [fill in the blank], is available to you.
Pack Light 🦋
Although the situation was minor, it was a reflection of what was going on in my life on a bigger scale. I realized it was time to evaluate where I am, where I'm going and whose coming with me. It was time to have the hard conversations.
A Wreck Like Me
Have you ever felt like you were making progress, then something happened and for a moment you went back to an old habit? An old pattern? An old mindset? It's tempting to feel like our progress is completely destroyed when we fall off track. But that's not true. Imagine this:
Giving God My Corner Piece of Cake
In my family, whenever we gather for a celebration, there’s always cake involved. And as an unofficial family tradition, I receive one of the four corner pieces of said cake (corner pieces have the most icing!). By the time I get to the dessert table, I know there’s a single corner piece off to the side, just for me. And just as I look forward to receiving what I consider to be the best part of a cake, God also desires our best.
Embracing Your Radiance
You are worthy. And your worth does not decrease when other people are not able to see it. Your value does not lessen when you feel insecure, because your value is found in Christ. Your dreams do not become impossible the moment someone shoots them down, unless you decide you will no longer pursue them. Because faith without works is dead and if you're going to believe in God you must also believe you were created in His image and the desires He has given you will come to pass. That has to become your truth.
Fearfully & Wonderfully Made
Dictionary.com defines the word image as: a physical likeness or representation of a person, animal, or thing, photographed, painted, sculptured or otherwise made visible. The NLT Bible defines image as: a God-given likeness or reflection; a tangible or visible representation. How do you define your image?
